Interesting, I got this response on aforementioned story-- MUGABE'S
I have read it from other platforms n below is my response to the write up n those platforms.

Mugabe, Chiwenga and Mnangagwa are not comrades. Mugabe is much older than both men. The person that wrote this doesn't know the history. Mnanagagwa was a child when Mugabe came to his village to teach. It was then he fell under Mugabe's spell and started following him. Mugabe is 93 while Mnanagagwa is 75 and Chiwenga is just 61! How can they be in their 20's together?
Utter hogwash...playing with facts...this isn't the first time Mugabe and Mnanagagwa have fallen out. He has been in and out of Mugabe's govt and has been a reliable henchman for the guy. He is accused of spearheading the Matebele land massacre where people loyal to former Zimbabwean VP and freedom fighter Joshua Nkomo were massacred.
Mugabe's downfall has to do with his wife who formed the G-40 (Generation 40) group within Zanu-PF. The G-40 were in contention for power with the Lacoste group. The Lacoste group gets it's name from the designer Lacoste and whose logo is a crocodile. And the nickname of the leader of the group, Mnanagagwa is (you guessed it) *Crocodile*. A very dangerous man who doesn't speak much but is very brutal.
Grace Mugabe is deeply unpopular in Zimbabwe. Her antecedents are well known. How she got pregnant for Mugabe while still married to air force pilot Stanley Goreraza. She had two kids for Mugabe while still married to the guy! The poor guy was packaged off and is currently​ Defence attaché at the Zimbabwean embassy in China. The woman has an outstanding warrant in South Africa and by the way is still in Zimbabwe!
Long and short is that the military guys couldn't contemplate someone as haughty, arbitrary, arrogant, self-seeking and unreliable as Grace Mugabe as their C-in-C. They know Mugabe is near the end and took the risk of toppling him now...they will make a big mistake if Chiwenga hands over full powers to Mnanagagwa who is a disaster waiting to happen.
